FAFSA: Free Application for Student Aid Deadline for Making Corrections

Completing the Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) is a great first step towards possibly receiving money for college. When you fill out the FAFSA, you are up against others to compete for financial aid whether it is for grants or loans. On the FAFSA form you are to include your income, parent income if you are a dependent and your school code identifying what school you plan to attend or attending.

The FAFSA can be filled out online by going to www.fafsa.gov. Funds are limited and the sooner you fill out the FAFSA the better. If you have already completed a FAFSA, you are good to go. You should receive information soon on how much aid you are eligible for whether it is the pell grant, loans and other grants.
You may be still waiting or you may have realized that you need to make corrections to your FAFSA.

Have you completed the Free Application for Student Aid online? Do you need to make corrections to it?
Just as a reminder if you need to make corrections to your online form, the deadline to make corrections is fast approaching. The deadline is September 21.
