More Pell Grant money

There has been an increase in Pell Grant funds. Legislation has been recently passed for $36 billion to go towards Pell Grant funds. For those who are going to college and need financial aid, this is great news. More grant money means less use of loans.
The Pell Grant is targeted for students of families with low income. With the Pell Grant, you do not have to worry about paying the money back.

If you are interested in getting the Pell Grant, you should complete the Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA). You should fill out and complete this form as early as possible so that you will increase your chances of getting a grant. If possible send in the form by April. The sooner you send in the FAFSA the better.
